The Trust arose from the wish of Thomas Wall II in 1920 and has over the years made thousands of awards, in the form of grants, for the assistance, support and encouragement of individuals and organisations in the fields of education and social service in its broadest sense.
The Trustees welcome applications from:
INDIVIDUALS, particularly those who, through adverse or unexpected circumstances, have financial difficulties but who wish to pursue vocational courses or courses concerned with social welfare which will subsequently lead to paid employment.
ORGANISATIONS, MOVEMENTS and INSTITUTIONS that are REGISTERED CHARITIES for projects showing originality and flair in the advancement of education and social concern.
