Dr Amrita Sen Mukherjee

Amrita has a wealth of experience, working with the Private and Public Sectors. Her client base includes Multinationals, SMEs, various charities, along side her work with the NHS. Amrita’s passion lies in supporting others to lead healthy and flourishing lives in which they are successfully enabled to grow and thrive. Using her background in healthcare, Amrita is dedicated to connecting with her clients to enhance overall life satisfaction and wellbeing.

Amrita’s field of research is in Wellbeing, Post traumatic Growth, and
Invisible Disability. As a result of Amrita’s expertise in these fields, she is a TEDx speaker, regularly invited guest speaker at University Seminars, International Post graduate Conferences, and as a featured guest on several podcasts. As well as having her research published in the esteemed British Journal of Health Psychology, Amrita has contributed to research on Post traumatic Growth in cancer patients and offered articles to the British Medical Journal and the Medical Protection Society Magazine.

Amrita is one of a small cohort of trailblazers promoting the fields of Positive Psychology Coaching(PPC) and PPC in Healthcare and is recognised as an Advanced PPC Practitioner by thought leaders Professor Van Nieuwerburgh and Dr. Biswas-Diener.

Amrita developed and spearheaded a voluntary Wellbeing Service for UK Frontline Healthcare Professionals during the 2020 pandemic. For her efforts, she was awarded a ‘Platinum’ Volunteering Award from the University of East London, an RCGP Inspire ‘Highly Commended’ Award, and was named an ‘unsung hero’ in the GP magazine Pulse for her service to colleagues. Amrita volunteers her time as a peer advocate and is proud to be the current Co-Chair of the Disabled Doctors Network.This network was formed to promote the inclusion of doctors with chronic illnesses or disabilities within the medical profession.
