Theodora became a trustee of the Thomas Wall Trust in July 2019. She started in the teaching profession in 1978 and after 16 years as a Headteacher in a state-funded girls’ secondary school retired in 2020. She taught in and did advisory work for the London Borough of Brent for 25 years, with her main teaching subjects being English and Drama before moving to Headship in Hertfordshire. She is presently Honorary Secretary on the ASCL (Association of School and College Leaders) Benevolent Fund and a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.
She has a particular interest in Curriculum (which was the focus for her MA) and exploring the barriers to learning that prevent young people from developing the skills they need for employment and secure futures
In her spare time (!), she enjoys reading, keeping fit and working as a volunteer steward at Shakespeare’s Globe on Bankside.
